Oh so much in there Christopher. Thanks! V best with the paperback, event, class and your son's exhibition. I'm carrying this passage with me in particular now, somewhat echoing what Blackfeet elder Kim Paul said to me a couple of months after you and I met ... "And when the people invested in those myths push them this strongly, in a way so obviously at odds with observable reality, you know they must be worried that the fiction on which the legitimacy of national borders depends is becoming more apparent."
Thanks for asking Christopher. Yes, as of a week ago. In fact, was just in the surf this morning, as conditions warm up over here. The ocean is wonderful. On the other hand, I could write an equivalent story here to the pile driving happening at your end! Though again mirroring some of your experience, on our block now, flowers, bees, lizards and birds are revelling in spring time like I've never seen here. I'll be watching for our version of hybridised species emerging (amazing!). Best to the fam!
On the topic of the half buried tire, please see the children's book, Ant and Bee and the Rainbow, if you haven't. I can see the illustration as clearly as if it were in front of me, fifty years later, even if Bee didn't live in the tire. I'll send you pics if you can't find the content of the book.
An especially excellent post this issue. And congrats on the paperback!
Thank you! 🙏
Nice piece. Your writing continues to change how I experience my own observable reality.
Thank you! 🙏💚
So pleased your book has done well enough for a paperback version, that's brilliant news!
Thank you! I’m delighted 🙏

Thank you, Anthony! Are you back home yet?
